Fans wanting to watch Arsenal’s Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain may be left scratching their heads. Following their opening week draw away to Atalanta, the Gunners continue their European campaign against Luis Enrique’s side.

One of the Premier League’s big guns against the kings of French football, it’s one of the highlights of week two in the new-look Champions League. However, the match won’t be in its usual place for TV viewers.

TNT Sports (formerly BT Sports) has held exclusive live rights for the Champions League in recent years. However, the Discovery-owned channel will not be showing the action from the Emirates due to a new TV deal.

New for this season, Amazon’s Prime Video service will show one Champions League game per matchday, with first picks on Tuesday nights. And as they’ve gone for the Gunners vs PSG, you’ll have to subscribe to Amazon Prime, which gives you access to Prime Video.

The monthly cost of Amazon is £8.99 or £95 if you pay annually. That also comes with online shopping benefits like free delivery and discounted Prime Days. If you just want access to Prime Video via your streaming device or smart TV, it’s £5.99 per month.

If you’re not already an Amazon Prime subscriber, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial with your credit/debit card details. The trial will auto-renew at £8.99 per month unless cancelled.

Meanwhile, the Gunners had one fresh injury concern after summer signing Riccardo Calafiori suffered a knock during the dramatic 4-2 win over Leicester at the weekend, although the Italy star is expected to be available. Martin Odegaard is the only major absentee.

Meanwhile, there are ructions in the PSG camp after Ousmane Dembele was axed from the squad following a disagreement with head coach Enrique. Dembele has scored four times in six Ligue 1 matches for PSG this season and played in the Champions League opening-match win against Girona earlier this month.

But ahead of the game, Enrique revealed the 27-year-old France international had not travelled to London. The Spaniard said: “If someone doesn’t comply or respect the expectations of the team, it means they are not prepared to play.

“These circumstances are difficult and you have to take difficult decisions. But I am 100% engaged with my decision, and 100% sure of the decision I have made.

“It doesn’t mean this is irreversible, but I took the best decision for the team and that is why I signed here, to create a team that has a strong identity and has a lot of character.”
