West Ham: Arsenal-bound Rice sends message to Tottenham star
Declan Rice is training in Portugal with Tottenham’s James Maddison as the West Ham star waits for his move to Arsenal to be finalised.
Rice, 24, took to Instagram on Wednesday (12 July) to share images of himself going through the paces with both Maddison and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.
In an image of himself training with 26-year-old Maddison, Rice said “my bro”, and added a heart emoji.
In a post, Rice also shared an image of himself “stepping it up” with Man United and Portugal star Fernandes.
West Ham are still waiting for Arsenal to finalise the £105million deal for Rice with Sky Sports reporting that the Irons are becoming increasingly frustrated with the hold-up.

Rice is leaving West Ham to join Arsenal, yet is loving it up with a Tottenham player on Instagram.
It’s a bit of an unwise move, isn’t it?
Arsenal and West Ham fans are both equally frustrated with how long this deal is taking to complete with the hold-up looking more than likely to be on Arsenal’s end.
The Hammers want the deal to be done so they can crack on with spending the money and adding to David Moyes’ squad ahead of a 2023/24 campaign that sees them competing in the Premier League and the Europa League.
However, for one reason or another, Arsenal are dragging their feels.
With a medical reportedly done and dusted, it’s crazy that the deal hasn’t been made official yet.
Arsenal’s conduct in this transfer has been very poor, to say the least.
From lowballing pointless bids that won’t be accepted to dragging it out right now when everything is in place.
Maybe they’re doing the best they can to hamper West Ham’s efforts to replace Rice?
In other West Ham United news, Fabrizio Romano has now shared what he’s been told about the delay in Rice’s exit.
