Wantaway Alassane Pléa targeted by West Ham, Fulham and Crystal Palace – Get French Football News

Foot Mercato are reporting that Alassane Pléa (30) wants to leave Borussia Mönchengladbach this summer, and West Ham United, Fulham and Crystal Palace are interested in bringing the France international to the Premier League.
The former OGC Nice striker joined the Bundesliga side for €23m back in the summer of 2018 and has scored 49 goals in 173 appearances for the German club. However, goals have been in shorter supply this season. The Frenchman has just two goals in 28 Bundesliga appearances, although he does have nine assists in that time. His decreased output is linked to a positional change, which sees him deployed out wide.
This positional change hasn’t pleased Pléa, who prefers to play through the middle, and despite possessing a contract that runs until 2025, Pléa is keen to leave the club this summer.
Rated at between €10-12m, Pléa favours a return to Ligue 1. Multiple French clubs are interested, according to Foot Mercato, including Olympique Lyonnais. Whilst there are uncertainties surrounding the identity of the future Sporting Director at Les Gones, key members of the hierarchy at the club, including John Textor have validated his profile.
However, Lyon will face competition. Crystal Palace, West Ham and Fulham have all made contact with the player’s entourage over a summer move.
