We’re officially into the final three days of the summer transfer window, with clubs across the Premier League and beyond scrambling around to get deals across the line before Friday’s deadline.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all expected to see movement in the transfer department in the final hours of this summer’s window.

The futures of Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho and Ivan Toney are still to be decided, while Liverpool still haven’t added any fresh blood to their squad this summer.

Express Sport keeps you up to date with all the latest transfer news, rumours and stories.

Man Utd eye late Ivan Toney hijack as talks are held

Manchester United have reportedly held talks with representatives of Ivan Toney ahead of a proposed Old Trafford switch.

Toney has been courted by Chelsea, but United are now believed to be interested in the attacker.

The Englishman has one year left on his contract at Brentford, with the west Londoners believed to be keen to cash in.

Toney is also said to be attracting keen interest from Saudi Arabia.

Man Utd confirm latest transfer deal after Ugarte

Manchester United have confirmed the permanent sale of Hannibal Mejbri to Championship side Burnley.

It’s reported by Fabrizio Romano that a fee of £9million (add-ons included) will be paid by the Clarets.

Mejbri had joined from Monaco in 2019 for £10million.

Liverpool eye bargain deal after confirming first summer transfer

It took quite a long time, but Liverpool have finally bagged their first signing of the summer window.

Giorgi Mamardashvili is expected to join the club, with the Georgian goalkeeper staying at his current club Valencia until next summer.

In the meantime though, the Reds have been working on getting another deal across the line – a player who will join the squad this summer.

That’s believed to be Federico Chiesa, who was left out of Juventus’ plans for the upcoming season.

It’s claimed by The Athletic that Liverpool are eyeing up a deal, with talk the Italian could sign for less than £13million.

Liverpool’s existing stance on Darwin Nunez exit amid Arsenal rumours

Liverpool have previously insisted Darwin Nunez isn’t available for transfer, be that a permanent or loan move, this summer.

It was reported by the Liverpool Echo last month Liverpool were unwilling to entertain a deal of any kind for their club-record signing.

But whether that position has changed remains unknown.

Talk of a surprise move to Arsenal in the final days of the window has emerged, but any interest hasn’t been made concrete by the north Londoners yet.

Nunez joined Liverpool in 2022 but has failed to impress ever since his move from Benfica.

His frustrations have been multiplied so far this season, with the striker starting both of Liverpool’s Premier League matches on the bench.

Raheem Sterling moves closer to shock Man Utd move

Raheem Sterling has edged closer to a Manchester United move after contact between the two clubs was reportedly made.

It’s claimed by The Sun that United have informed Chelsea about their current Sterling stance.

The report suggests the Red Devils made it clear to their Premier League rivals they don’t intend to pay a fee for the unwanted England international.

Talk of a surprise swap deal involving Jadon Sancho emerged earlier this week.

Sterling joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022 and has previously played for both Manchester City and Liverpool – United’s two closest rivals.
