The transfer window for Premier League and EFL clubs formally opens on Friday, with clubs finalising plans for their summer business. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have already been linked with huge-money deals.

All four clubs will be keen to topple Manchester City next season after Pep Guardiola’s side secured a record fourth consecutive league title. City themselves will want to stay ahead of the competition and should not be ruled out of a couple of money-spinning transfers.

Aston Villa will bolster their squad ahead of their Champions League campaign, while Newcastle will want to improve after failing to qualify for Europe. We may even see deals take place much earlier this summer, with the PSR cut-off point for the 2023-24 season landing on June 30.

Benjamin Sesko U-turns on Arsenal decision

The forward has been strongly linked with Arsenal in recent months amid Mikel Arteta’s search for a prolific No 9.

However, it is now claimed that Sesko will pen fresh terms with his current club, ending speculation over his future.

Arsenal eye trio of summer deals

Arsenal are expected to be busy this summer.

Mikel Arteta’s side finished second in the Premier League and were only two points away from toppling Manchester City.

Additions are expected to made across the pitch at the Emirates Stadium.

A new forward is high on the agenda and The Athletic report that Arsenal remain the favourites to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano claims Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz is still a target for the Gunners.

Dutch publication De Telegraaf adds that Lutsharel Geertruida is also attracting interest from the North Londoners.

Arsenal and Liverpool battle for target

Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in signing goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, De Telegraaf report.

Bijlow currently plays for Feyenoord but has two years remaining on his contract.

The 26-year-old has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool, the latter of whom are now managed by his former Feyenoord boss Arne Slot.

Liverpool may hijack Chelsea for exciting forward

Liverpool may hijack Chelsea’s move for Crysencio Summerville this summer.

There had been reports that the Reds had pulled out of the race to sign the winger, leaving Chelsea as one of the most obvious possible destinations should he leave Leeds.

However, Fabrizio Romano reports that Liverpool remain interested in Summerville.

The Merseysiders may decide to beat Chelsea to the signing of the exciting 22-year-old.

Arsenal could lose prolific wonderkid

Bayern Munich are reportedly in advanced talks with Arsenal wonderkid Chido Obi.

Obi scored a staggering 43 goals in 42 matches last season, primarily for the Gunners’ U18 side.

The 16-year-old is in discussions over a scholarship deal at several clubs, with Academy Scoop claiming that Bayern Munich are in ‘advanced talks’.

It remains unclear whether Arsenal are set to offer improved terms.
