The summer transfer window will close in just over three weeks, meaning Premier League clubs are running out of time to improve their squads for the new season. The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have already been active in the market but will be hoping to strike more deals before the bidding stops.
United are reportedly chasing a number of exciting deals with some believed to be closer than others. They are thought to be closing in on the signing of former Arsenal striker Chido Obi-Martin, who reportedly underwent a successful medical earlier this week.
The Gunners, meanwhile, are in the market for a new midfielder with Mikel Arteta eager to shore up his ranks in the engine room. Chelsea have also been linked with a handful of big-name players while Liverpool are still waiting to make their first signing of the Arne Slot era.

Man Utd weigh up Ederson move
Manchester United are reportedly mulling over a move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson after cooling their interest in Manuel Ugarte.
The Red Devils have already spoken to his representatives after making initial contact in March, according to GiveMeSport.
Ederson helped Atalanta to win the Europa League last season and is thought to be valued at around £38m.
He remains tied down until the summer of 2027, meaning the Italian side are under no immediate pressure to sell him if their demands are not met.

Brentford nearing move for Cajuste
Brentford are nearing a move for Napoli midfielder Jens Cajuste after emerging as the frontrunners for his signature, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Cajuste has also been linked with newly-promoted Ipswich Town but it seems he is more likely to join the Bees.
The midfielder arrived at Napoli last summer but struggled to make an impact and is said to be heading for an exit after just one season.
He is reportedly expected to arrive at Brentford on an initial loan deal with the obligation to buy.
Arsenal close in on Merino deal
Arsenal are getting closer to a successful move for Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The two clubs are still believed to be negotiating financial terms, with a final transfer fee and the structure of add-ons yet to be finalised.
Merino is believed to be valued at around £25m and has been linked with a move away since impressing for Spain at the Euros.
He is said to have emerged as a top target for Arsenal with Mikel Arteta eager to strengthen his ranks in the engine room.
Man Utd set to announce Obi-Martin signing
Manchester United are waiting to announce the signing of former Arsenal striker Chido Obi-Martin after he underwent a medical on Tuesday.
According to Academy Scoop, the teenage forward passed the required checks with the deal now subject to Premier League approval.
Obi-Martin will become United’s third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro.
He is believed to be encouraged by the pathway to first-team football on offer at Old Trafford.
