The summer transfer window has burst into life over the last few days, with a host of Premier League clubs looking to complete some early business. The likes of Chelsea, Aston Villa and Everton have all been active in the market but they could soon be joined by some of their top-flight rivals.

Manchester United are on the hunt for a new striker and have been linked with a move for Bologna frontman Joshua Zirkzee. They are not the only club with an interest in the Dutchman, though, given that AC Milan have also been credited with a strong desire to snap him up.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are yet to make their first signing of the Arne Slot era following his arrival at Anfield earlier this month. They could also be about to lose one of their longest-serving players, with reports suggesting that Adrian has rejected the offer of a new contract.
