As we enter the final week of the Premier League season, attention at clubs up and down the country is gradually turning to the summer transfer window. The ‘Big Six’ are all expected to splash the cash on marquee signings over the next few months, though spending sprees elsewhere are also being plotted.

Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag have both made it clear that Chelsea and Manchester United plan on spending big this summer in the hope of accelerating their rebuilds, whilst Liverpool could also be busy in the transfer window under the instruction of new manager Arne Slot.

Arsenal reaped the benefits of their busy summer last year and Mikel Arteta will be hoping to replicate that success in the upcoming window, as will their title rivals Manchester City, who are hoping to inject further quality into their ageing ranks.

Arsenal make definitive decision on Aaron Ramsdale

Arsenal will ‘100 per cent’ replace Aaron Ramsdale this summer, reports Fabrizio Romano.

The goalkeeper has been forced to play second fiddle to David Raya this season and the Gunners are now willing to part ways with the ex-Bournemouth star and bring in an alternative No. 2.

Ex-Arsenal star Wojciech Szczesny has been linked with a return to the Emirates Stadium, with his situation at Juventus ‘unclear’.

Newcastle chief holds talks with Alexander Isak

Alexander Isak reportedly held talks with Newcastle chairman Yasir Al Rumayyan following his side’s 1-1 draw with Brighton on Saturday.

According to The Mirror, the forward spoke at length with the Saudi chief after the full-time whistle sounded, with speculation growing over where his future lies this summer.

Newcastle are keen to tie Isak down to a bumper new deal at St James’ Park, but Arsenal are ready to pounce and have shortlisted the ex-Real Sociedad star as a target this summer.

Tottenham agree first summer sale

Millwall have reportedly agreed a deal with Tottenham to sign Japhet Tanganga permanently following his successful loan spell with the club.

The Mirror report that Millwall have reached an agreement with Spurs for the 25-year-old following his short but sweet stint at The Den.

Tanganga is out of contract with Tottenham at the end of the season, though the north London outfit do have a one-year option to extend his stay.

Millwall are now keen to agree on personal terms with the loanee in case alternative offers arrive.

Man Utd join race for £69m defender

Manchester United are eyeing a move for Sporting star Ousmane Diomande, reports CaughtOffside.

The defender is attracting plenty of interest ahead of the summer transfer window, with Arsenal and Newcastle both regularly sending scouts to Portugal to monitor his progress.

United have also now joined the race to sign the Ivorian, though Sporting have no interest in negotiating a deal for the 20-year-old and will only part ways with the centre-back if his £69million release clause is paid.

Liverpool eye Mo Salah successor

Liverpool have reportedly registered an interest in signing Barca forward Raphinha this summer.

According to TBR Football, the Reds are among a host of clubs to have been informed that the Brazilian international as the ex-Leeds United star plots a return to the Premier League.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are also said to be keen on Raphinha and are aware that Barcelona must sell the 27-year-old to raise funds.

Liverpool are expected to sign a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah this summer, with several options being explored.
