Top scorer: Mbappé takes the crown

The Paris Saint-Germain star notched his 29th and final league goal of the season in his side’s 3-2 defeat to Clermont.

Mbappé kept a cool head to convert form the penalty spot and cement his unassailable lead at the top of the standings.

Loïs Openda capped off a wonderful first season in French football with his 21st goal of the campaign in Lens’ 3-1 win at Auxerre.

The Belgian struck with 12 minutes remaining to make the points safe for Franck Haise’s side.

Reims striker Folarin Balogun also finished up with 21 goals after his strike in the 3-1 defeat to Montpellier.

The USA international tapped in from close range to hand his side a first-half lead.

Wonderful Wissam

Wissam Ben Yedder moved up to 19 goals with his effort for Monaco against Toulouse.

The evergreen striker applied a simple close-range finish to end the season on a respectable total.

Elye Wahi netted twice for Montpellier at Reims to finish the campaign on a superb total of 19 goals.

Wahi’s first was a well-taken header to get his side back on level terms.

He later struck his second of the game to confirm maximum points for Michel Der Zakarian’s buoyant side.
