Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace was United’s fourth Premier League loss in just seven games this season.
And although tomorrow night’s Champions League matchup may seem like a fresh page away from their domestic troubles, they face a tough challenge.
That challenge begins with registering their first points in Group A of the competition after a thrilling 4-3 loss to Bayern Munch last time out.
The scoreline reads as a close cut affair, but United were outclassed by their German opposition for the majority of the game.

And they welcome a hungry Galatasaray with an even hungrier Wilfried Zaha on Tuesday night.
The Turkish outfit are undefeated in all competitions this season and will arrive at the Theatre of Dreams full of confidence.
Their draw with Copenhagen last time out in the Champions League means they’re currently above United in the group and will be desperate to keep it that way.
Former Red Devil Zaha scored his first goal for Galatasaray at the weekend and eight years on from his departure from Man Utd, he’s coming back with the aim of doing them some damage.

The Ivorian returns with his new side after finally getting his move to a Champions League club this summer.
The importance of getting a result won’t be lost on Ten Hag who is doing his best to try and re-track United’s off-the-rails season.
Three European point could translate to a lot more for a side who are seemingly always one loss away from a crisis.
The United boss will be keen to keep the crowd on side as things could get hostile at home if a result doesn’t fall in favour of his team.
What is their form like?
It’s no secret that Man United are having a torrid time this season and they’re now coming off the back of a 1-0 home loss to Crystal Palace.
But you never know with this side as one week they show up and they next week they don’t.

As for Galatasaray, they’re yet to lose so far this term and will be looking to keep that record going.
They go in to Tuesday’s clash with three wins on the spin, but a draw last time out in the Champions League could be a cause for concern.
What’s the team news and any injuries to worry about?
Antony could make his return to the side after his leave of absence from the first team following claims of assault from his ex-girlfriend.
Lisandro Martinez is certain to miss the game as he recovers from a foot injury that could keep him out until 2024.
While Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Amad Diallo and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are all still going to sit the match out.
There’s a small chance that Sergio Reguilon could return to the starting lineup after missing Saturday’s clash with Palace.
Wilfried Zaha is expected to start against his old club from the off, but Galatasaray will be without Chelsea loanee Hakim Ziyech.

Who will be the star men?
Marcus Rashford almost always steps up for Manchester United in Europe and fans will be looking at him to do the same on Tuesday.
Although he’s had a slow start to the season, he will still offer a huge threat going forward for the Red Devils.
Expect Wilfried Zaha to be the man with the most to prove on the Old Trafford turf.
Although Galatasaray boast star power all over the pitch with players like Mauro Icardi, Dries Mertens and Lucas Torreira.

What have the managers said?
Erik ten Hag is determined to see his side not only get a result, but put in a top performance too.
Speaking ahead of the game, he said: “As I said previously, top football is always about results but if the execution is not right, if the process is not right, you don’t go to win. So [I want] both.”
SunSport prediction
Manchester United have had an up and down start to the season, but it seems that every time it’s about to hit rock bottom they get a result.
They have a stronger squad than Galatasaray and should be expected to get their first set of points in the Champions League.
Erik ten Hag’s men should have enough to get over the line and avoid embarrassment at the hands of former man Zaha.
Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Galatasaray
