Euro 2024 is looming large and the friendlies are coming thick and fast as the competing nations look to fine-tune their tactics ahead of the finals in Germany, which start in less than a fortnight.

England and Scotland are both in action on Monday, while tournament hosts Germany also get the chance to whip up the home crowd ahead of the action, and we have three tasty bets for you to get stuck into on a busy night of action.

Bet of the Day

Germany to win & both teams to score @ 9/5

Germany have high hopes of glory this summer and they are third favourites to be crowned kings of Europe on home soil this summer.

The Germans have prepared well so far, picking up wins over fellow big boys Netherlands and France in their last two outings, but prior to that things had been a struggle for Julian Nagelmann’s side, who are unlikely to have things all their own way against Ukraine.

Germany have kept just one clean sheet in their last 12 outings in all competitions, while their latest meeting with Ukraine ended in a 3-3 draw almost 12 months ago.

Another lively encounter is expected at the Max-Morlock-Stadion in Nuremberg on Monday, and the best bet looks to be Germany sealing a win in a clash which sees both teams get on the scoresheet.

Special of the day

Bet Builder: Conor Gallagher to be shown a card and Edin Dzeko to score anytime @ 20/1

England are expected to see off Bosnia and Herzegovina with the minimum of fuss at St James’ Park on Monday, but a lively contest could unfold as Gareth Southgate looks to put his charges through their paces.

The Three Lions will start Euro 2024 as tournament favourites but several key men including Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker and Kobbie Mainoo have been given extra time to recover following the end of the domestic campaign, so a disjointed performance may be witnessed from the home side.

That’s not to say they can’t win, but Bosnia will look to trouble their illustrious hosts, so backing all-action midfielder Conor Gallagher – the player with the most fouls in the Premier League last term – to pick up a booking could prove to be a good starting point for a bet builder.

Combining that selection with a punt on Bosnia legend Edin Dzeko – who scored 21 Super Lig goals for Fenerbahce last season – to get on the scoresheet could lead to a chunky payout.

Longshot of the day

Scotland to win 3-0 vs Gibraltar @ 22/5

Scotland have had a miserable time of things since qualifying for Euro 2024 but the Tartan Army have the perfect opportunity to end their seven-match winless streak with a victory over whipping boys Gibraltar.

Goals have been hard for Scotland to come by recently and their cause hasn’t been helped by the injury to frontline striker Lyndon Dykes, who has been forced to pull out of the European Championships with an unspecified injury.

So that suggests backing a more modest margin of victory is the way to go in this contest, which takes place at the Estadio de Algarve in Portugal.

Scotland have scored exactly six goals in each of their two previous meetings with Gibraltar, but boss Steve Clarke is likely to apply the handbrake to avoid any further issues with his side.

A 3-0 scoreline looks like a solid outcome and could yield a decent return on Monday evening.
