Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi believes sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is having an impact.
Tacchinardi was reflecting on Juve’s victory over Lazio on Saturday.
He told TMW Radio: “Definitely a more proactive Juve, with more hunger, who has understood the value that this club and the shirt must have in all matches.
“Juve this year has no excuses, they must try to win, they must play with that hunger. Maybe then they won’t win, but it has to play like this. The arrival of a sporting director like Giuntoli with clear ideas is fundamental.
“I think he was also very clear with (Max) Allegri. In recent years we haven’t liked Juventus, now we have clear ideas. Juve has changed their mentality and you can see the results. As a squad they are strong, they have one match a week and they have to eat that match straight away. And then I see some different ideas.”
