Stan Collymore predicts the result of West Ham United v Leeds United

Stan Collymore has predicted the result of the crucial Premier League clash between West Ham United and Leeds United on Sunday afternoon (21 May).

The Whites travel to east London with Sam Allardyce needing to secure his first win since replacing Javi Gracia in the hot seat at Elland Road.

At the very least, they need to ensure that they are still alive, in the battle to avoid relegation to the Championship, for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur on the last day of the campaign.

In his prediction of the weekend’s Premier League fixtures on his Twitter account, Collymore opted for further happiness for the Hammers with a 2-0 loss for Leeds.

Such a scoreline would leave the Whites in serious trouble, with just one game of the campaign remaining.

With Everton and Nottingham Forest playing on Saturday, Big Sam’s side know exactly what they need to do.

A win would provide a massive boost ahead of the last fixture of the season, at home to Tottenham next Sunday but it is clear that they are in deep trouble.

Complacency from West Ham could help the Whites’ cause, as the centre of attention for the Irons will be their day of destiny to come, in the Czech capital.

That will remain, regardless of the result on Sunday afternoon, but Allardyce will be intent on spoiling the party with a very timely success of his own.

He is aiming to lead his side to their first win in eight Premier League games, with the last three points coming against Forest on 04 April.
