Scotland captain Andy Robertson has sparked injury concerns within the camp just days before their Euro 2024 campaign gets underway. Robertson left their first training session in Germany prematurely earlier today.

The team arrived at their Garmisch-Partenkirchen base on Sunday evening and began training this morning. However, unsettling images have surfaced showing Liverpool star Robertson receiving attention from the national team’s medical staff.

Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland was also forced to cut his session short.

Scotland are just four days away from their crucial Group A match against host nation Germany at Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena.

Manager Steve Clarke has already been dealt a blow with injuries, having lost full-backs Nathan Patterson and Aaron Hickey before announcing the squad, and Lyndon Dykes and Ben Doak after the team was revealed.

The reason for Robertson’s early exit remains unclear, but a member of the Scotland coaching staff is expected to address the media later today to provide more clarity.

The left-back played 63 minutes last Friday at Hampden Park as he captained the Scots to a 2-2 draw with Finland.
