Scenes during the Europa conference league final as Westham United made history winning trophy

Westham United made history as the first premier league club to win the Europa conference league trophy after beating Fiorentina 2.1 to clinch the title. The London side begun the match on a low before they slowly gained momentum in the second half.It was amazing to see Arsenal target Declan Rice lift the first trophy in his entire career. Westham United will be open to let the English midfielder leave this summer.
However,I have looked at some of the scenes that occurred during the match.Westham United fans became furious with Fiorentina captain Christiano Biraghi and begun to throw objects towards him.And as Fiorentina scored their first goal, which was later disallowed, Biraghi was hit on his head forcing the medical team to work on him.The scenes forced the game to stop for some minutes. However,in the second half,everything stabilised and the game went on as expected before Westham United scored their first goal through a penalty.
Benrahma has been amazing for Westham United since joining them from Brentford FC some years back.The winger has scored crucial goals for the side and yesterday’s goals meant everything for Westham United. It is a huge win for Westham United who have not been good this season and the side will have something to celebrate at the moment.
