Saudi Club Al-Nassr Interested in Signing Man United Left-Back Alex Telles

According to latest reports in Spain, Manchester United defender Alex Telles could join Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr in this summer transfer window. The Brazilian could potentially link up with his former United talisman and teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Following his move from FC Porto to Manchester United in 2020 for a transfer fee of £15.4 million, Alex Telles initially showed promise. However, he fell out of favour with manager Erik ten Hag and now appears poised to depart from Old Trafford.

The Brazilian left-back joined Sevilla on a season-long loan deal at the beginning of last campaign, making a total of 38 appearances for the club in all competitions. However, his time in Spain was plagued with injuries and it is unlikely that the La Liga side will make his move permanent.

The Brazilian is currently contracted with Manchester United until June 2024. The officials at Al-Nassr are willing to cover the entire salary of Alex Telles, which played a significant role in his departure from Sevilla.

Joining the Saudi club would mean the 30-year-old will play for a team that has secured qualification for the AFC Champions League for the upcoming season. However, the downside to this move is that if he decides to pursue a career in Saudi Arabia, it could potentially hinder his chances of representing the Brazil national team.
