Revealed: What Erling Haaland screamed at his teammates following FA Cup final win

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland ensured that his teammates did not lose sight of the bigger picture amid a historic treble chasing campaign, despite their 2-1 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

Two goals from City captain Ilkay Gundogan, including a stunning volley just seconds into the game, proved enough to land Pep Guardiola’s side the trophy alongside their Premier League success.

It continues their chase for a historic treble too, a feat which has not been achieved in England since 1999 when Manchester United pulled it off. Manchester City face Inter Milan in the Champions League final next Saturday, looking to make history with a win over the Italian side in a game which they are heavy favourites to win.

And though he hardly had a kick against Manchester United, Haaland was quick to remind his teammates that there job was not done after the win against their city rivals.

At full-time, he could be heard among the celebrations screaming ‘one more’ in reference to the fact that the Champions League showpiece is still to come, while he took to social media after the game to reinforce his point.

Despite netting a record 36 goals in the Premier League to spearhead them to a fifth title in six years, Haaland has netted just once in his last seven games, a run that was extended with Saturday’s blank.

It his longest drought since arriving in Manchester last summer, and one that he will be desperate to end against Inter on Saturday. Should he do so, he will surely etch his and his side’s name in the history books (financial charges permitting) as one of the greatest that English football has ever seen.
