Endrick and Gabriely Miranda recently tied the knot after less than a year together
Teenage superstar Endrick brushed off the reported advice of his family by getting married to Brazilian model Gabriely Miranda so quickly. The pair recently traded their homeland for Spain following the player’s big-money move to Real Madrid.
And Miranda was in the stands of the Bernabeu to watch her new husband score his first Champions League goal on Tuesday night, as the former Palmeiras forward emerged from the bench to put the gloss on a 3-1 win over Stuttgart with a long-range effort.
Family man Endrick only turned 18 in July, and he was 17 when he and Miranda met less than a year ago.
It is claimed the youngster’s parents ‘adore’ his partner, but Brazilian outlet Extra reports that they advised Endrick against rushing into marriage. They were said to be concerned that his love life could distract him from reaching his destiny in football.
But that didn’t stop the couple from doing it anyway. Eyebrows have been raised about the age difference between 18-year-old Endrick and 23-year-old Miranda, but the pair seem to be smitten, and the Real star’s new wife has posted a series of pictures to Instagram in which she dons the famous white shirt.
Endrick will reportedly pocket just over £30,000 a week when his contract extension applies in 2027, unless his performances between now and then merit an increase.
Endrick scores his first Champions League goal against Stuttgart on Tuesday
Virtually every top club in Europe was keeping tabs on him after he broke into the Palmeiras first-team at the age of 16. He went on to score 21 goals in 82 games for the Brazilian giants and he already boasts three goals for the national team.
Endrick will inevitably bank huge wages if he goes on to fulfil his potential. Real’s star player, Vinicius Jr, reportedly takes home just shy of £350,000 a week and he, like his newly-married team-mate, was unearthed as a promising Brazilian teenager.
Reflecting on Tuesday’s win over Stuttgart, and Endrick’s goal in stoppage time, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti feels the club have a special player on their hands. “Endrick had courage, it was the last chance of the game and the best solution was to take advantage of the counter,” said the Italian.
“Endrick is able to do something that nobody can think of. He has this gift that is very effective. Not only in matches, but also in training. You can see that he is a very special player.”
