Ronnie and Phil Foden celebrate together on the pitch after Man City’s Champions League triumph in 2023.
Phil Foden’s five-year-old son is already considered an internet star in his own right and now his profile is set to get even bigger. Ronnie grabbed plenty of headlines in June 2023 after being filmed dancing on the pitch following Manchester City’s Champions League final win over Inter Milan.
His parents have since set him up with an Instagram account, which they manage, that has racked up 4.7million followers.
Ronnie is also on TikTok, has secured a modelling contract and is signed up to the Propel Talent Group who deal with enquiries about the youngster.
And now dad Phil and mum Rebecca are set to further expand his profile by creating a YouTube channel for their son. According to The Sun, the potentially lucrative venture is designed to secure Ronnie financially for the future.
The report also quoted a source close to the family, who said: “Ronnie loves being the centre of attention and is a big fan of some of the YouTubers so Phil and his mum have set up an account. He could end up making loads of money from it.”
Foden Jnr became an instant hero amongst City fans for his post-match celebrations in Istanbul. And last May, as players and coaches celebrated on the field at the Etihad after winning a fourth straight Premier League title, he again stole the spotlight by trying in vain to open a bottle of champagne.
Ronnie Foden has also been a regular mascot at Man City.
Phil, 23, has previously claimed Ronnie’s mannerisms were similar to his as a child. “His personality has made him who he is,” he said. “He just reminds me of myself when I was a kid and he’s very funny.”
Phil has also long embraced social media, with his own Instagram account boasting more than 12m followers. He posts on his X account, tracked by 1.6m users, on a regular basis.
The England star’s profile is only set to grow given he remains on track to become one of the most decorated players in the history of English football. He has already contributed to six Premier League titles wins, and has two FA Cup and four League Cup winning medals, as well as tasting Champions League, European Super Cup, and FIFA World Club Cup glory.

YouTube has become a growing phenomenon in sporting circles. Indeed, the Foden development comes just three weeks after Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo launched his own channel.
In that period, he has attracted more than 60m followers. That figure has also seen the 39-year-old surpass the 1billion follower mark when you combine all of his social media accounts.
