Paul Pogba has caused a stir away from the pitch after securing an off-field role.
Aged 31 and still on Juventus’ roster after parting ways with Manchester United back in 2022, Pogba has been sidelined from football since September 2023 following his team’s 2-0 win against Empoli.
His absence is attributed to a ban imposed in August 2023 when Pogba was sanctioned with a four-year suspension due to a positive testosterone sample. The midfield maestro has had his sanction curtailed and can lace up his boots for a comeback in early 2025, something he’s eagerly anticipating.
Yet, it’s in the world of cinema that Pogba has found a new calling; he’s signed on to star in the forthcoming film ‘4 Zeros’, portraying a youth football coach. Celebrating the film’s premiere, Pogba took to Instagram to share his excitement about his silver screen debut.
“Super happy to appear in the movie 4 Zero,” Pogba exclaimed on Instagram. The post quickly amassed over 700,000 likes, underscoring the influential midfielder’s media fame and enduring popularity within football circles.

Meanwhile, there’s growing uncertainty regarding Pogba’s future in the beautiful game amid rumblings that Juventus’s new boss, Thiago Motta, may not have room for the 31-year-old former prodigy in his plans when Pogba returns to the fray.
Motta, discussing the situation surrounding Pogba’s future at the club, remarked: “On Paul Pogba, the club will evaluate what to do. As for me, Pogba has been a great player, who hasn’t played for a long time. Now I’m focused on tomorrow’s game and everything else doesn’t matter much to me at this moment.”
