Liverpool’s star forward, Mohamed Salah, has unveiled a fresh haircut and beard trim.

Salah recently wrapped up his seventh season with the Reds, culminating in a victory over Wolves in the Premier League last weekend. The Egyptian international contributed 25 goals across all competitions, helping Liverpool secure a third-place finish in the league.

Anfield is set to usher in a new era this summer as Jurgen Klopp steps down from his managerial role. His successor, Arne Slot, has inked a three-year deal to take over as the club’s head coach.

On Friday, Salah took to social media to share a snapshot of his new look. Dressed in matching beige attire, it was his significantly shorter hair that grabbed the attention of Liverpool fans.

The 31-year-old simply captioned his post on X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram with a grinning face emoji.

Salah will now take some time off before rejoining Liverpool later this summer. With one year left on his contract, which runs until 2025, the Reds’ No.11 will be looking forward to working under new head coach Slot from next season, following the confirmation of his appointment earlier this week.

During his seven-year tenure at Anfield, Salah has only ever played under the management of Klopp. However, with a new coach at the helm and Salah’s contract due to expire in a year, speculation is bound to intensify regarding the future of Liverpool’s star player.

Amid Saudi Arabian transfer interest, Salah has vowed to give all that he can for Liverpool next year after a campaign which promised so much but ended with just a Carabao Cup victory.

“It was great sharing all those trophies and experiences with you over the past 7 years,” Salah wrote on X in a farewell post to Klopp. “I wish you the best of luck for the future and hope we meet again.

“We know that trophies are what count and we will do everything possible to make that happen next season. Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell.”
