Mohamed Salah hinted this current campaign could be his last in the Premier League amid talk of a Liverpool exit.

Salah has just one year left on his current Liverpool deal, with the attacker confirming he is yet to speak to the club about his future.

Speaking to Sky Sports after Liverpool’s 3-0 win over rivals Manchester United, Salah commented: “I had a good summer because as you know it’s my last year in the club. I just want to enjoy it.”

The former Chelsea star was at his scintillating best during the Old Trafford contest, registering two assists and popping up in the second half with a goal of his own.

He took his early season tally to an impressive three goals and three assists, but despite looking just as devastating as he has before, Salah isn’t sure whether Liverpool will look to offer him a contract extension.

He later added: “Nobody in the club has talked to me yet about contracts, so okay I’ll play my last season and we’ll see at the end of the season. It’s not up to me.

“I don’t with the club but, my last game here [at Old Trafford] with Liverpool.”
