Jadon Sancho is open to leaving Man United this summer
Jadon Sancho is reportedly keen to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer, but Manchester United won’t let him leave without a fight. The 24-year-old is back in Erik ten Hag’s squad after the two settled their differences at the start of pre-season.
Sancho, who was signed by United for £73million, had a falling out with Ten Hag in September 2023, which led to his temporary move to Borussia Dortmund in January.
While in Germany, Sancho regained his form and played a key role in helping Dortmund reach the Champions League final. Despite Dortmund’s interest in making his stay permanent, Sancho returned to Old Trafford.
However, this hasn’t quelled rumours about his future, with PSG now showing interest. According to French media outlet RMC Sport, Sancho has agreed to join the Ligue 1 champions, but United are holding out for a hefty £51.4m fee.
Sancho isn’t the only player on the negotiation table between the two clubs. United have shown interest in PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte. The Uruguayan joined from Sporting Lisbon just last year but is believed to be available this summer.
Despite already securing four new signings, Ten Hag is keen to find a long-term replacement for Casemiro, 32, before the transfer deadline day. Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong is also on his radar.

Sancho could head to PSG as part of a swap deal
Reports suggest that PSG are asking for the same £51.4m fee for Ugarte, opening up the possibility of a swap deal that could see Sancho make his desired move to Paris.
Ugarte is also keen to join the Red Devils this summer and has made that clear to his agent, Jorge Mendes.

Amidst pre-season speculation, Ten Hag has hinted at a positive future for Sancho at Old Trafford, having seemingly moved past last season’s tensions.
“We spoke well. Everyone can make a mistake,” Ten Hag was quoted saying to AD Sportwereld. “If the player reflects on this well, you draw a line and move on. This club needs good players, and one thing is certain: Jadon Sancho is a very good player. I hope that we will still click and that he will contribute to our success.”
