Manchester United reportedly dispatched scouts to Denmark on Thursday night to observe Eintracht Frankfurt’s forward Omar Marmoush in action. The Egyptian star scored the winning goal for his Bundesliga team from the penalty spot, securing a 2-1 victory over FC Midtjylland.

Scouts from Tottenham, Barcelona and PSG were also present at the match, according to the Mirror. Marmoush has had an impressive season so far, with a tally of 15 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.

Liverpool are also said to be interested in Mohamed Salah’s international teammate, who was previously the target of two unsuccessful bids from Nottingham Forest last summer. However, it now seems that United are seriously considering signing the highly-rated 25 year old, although Frankfurt hope he will remain with them until at least the end of the season.

Marmoush’s market value has now increased to approximately £50 million, but the German club may demand closer to £60 million to agree to a sale.
