Juventus have reportedly transfer listed as many as eight first-team players who are out of the picture under new boss Thiago Motta, putting Premier League clubs on red-alert for potential signings this summer.

Federico Chiesa leads the big names on the transfer list in Turin, joined by a host of familiar names that the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham could all be interested in.

With Chiesa, Wojciech Szczesny, Weston McKennie, Mattia De Sciglio, Arthur Melo, Filip Kostic, Hans Nicolussi Caviglia and Daniele Rugani all set to depart from the Serie A giants according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Express Sport has run the rule over which English teams could snap them up before the end of the month.

Man Utd

Chiesa has continued to be linked with Manchester United throughout his career, but after being omitted from the Juventus squad to face Brest in a pre-season friendly, the Red Devils have their best opportunity yet to bring the Italian to Old Trafford.

Utilised best off the right or as a second striker, United do have a glut of options in Chiesa’s position, but pre-season has highlighted a lack of firepower and they could address those concerns by signing the £15million-rated forward.

In addition to Chiesa, United can solve their defensive woes through Rugani. Leny Yoro’s injury and Victor Lindelof’s likely departure has left Erik ten Hag with a lack of options in the heart of defence and the 30-year-old could be a low-cost and valuable addition.

While the fitness of left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia continues to be a source of worry, which could be resolved by signing experienced wantaway defender Kostic.

Arsenal

With Aaron Ramsdale set to depart this summer in search of first-team opportunities, Arsenal could find a replacement and kill two birds with one stone and landing a homegrown backup option to David Raya.

Szczesny came through the Arsenal academy after initially joining in 2006 as a 15-year-old, going on to make over 130 appearances for the club before leaving for Juventus a little over a decade later.

Having spent his formative years at the club, the Polish stopper qualifies as a homegrown talent and would be a considerable boost to Arsenal’s quota, while also bringing substantial experience as a strong number two to Raya.

Tottenham

Tottenham have been admirers of McKennie since his impressive showing at the 2022 World Cup and his tenacity would certainly appeal to boss Ange Postecoglou.

The American came close to a Premier League move earlier in the window, having emerged as a possible inclusion in the swap deal taking Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz to Turin, but the transfer went forward with Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea heading to the Midlands instead.

Although youngsters Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have arrived to bolster Spurs’ midfield, McKennie could be considered a bargain option to replace Pierre Emile Hojbjerg.
