Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain remain engaged in serious discussions regarding Jadon Sancho and Manuel Ugarte, ahead of a blockbuster summer swap.

While United are keen on landing Ugarte, the steep valuation by PSG, who forked out a hefty £51.4million for him from Sporting Lisbon, has caused a frustrating stalemate. The Parisians’ desire to recoup their investment means United have considered turning their gaze elsewhere, as report Sky Sports.

Despite this, the Red Devils’ interest has not faded completely, and Sancho’s potential switch to PSG might ignite the discussion once again.

As initial conversations about Sancho moving to France have commenced, United have appraised him at £40m, with both players reportedly open to new adventures.

After a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund and a clash with manager Erik ten Hag, Sancho seems to have settled back in at United, appearing assertively throughout pre-season engagements.

“We spoke well,” commented Ten Hag on the domesticate restoration of their relationship. “Anyone can make a mistake. If the player reflects well on that, then you draw a line and move on again. This club needs good players, and one thing is for sure: Jadon is a very good player.

“I hope that the click still comes, and that he will contribute to our success.”

Sky has slashed the price of its Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix bundle in an unbeatable new deal that saves £216 and includes 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

With Ultra HD included at no extra cost, football fans can enjoy the 2024/25 season with crystal clear picture quality.

Echoing this sentiment, Sancho too relayed his contentment on rejoining United’s core squad, as he looks forward to his future with the team.

Celebrating his return to the fold, Sancho expressed his enthusiasm to club media, saying: “Definitely, 100 per cent. 100 per cent, yes. It’s been nice, enjoying the weather, back with the lads, it’s been good. I love the facilities in America.

“Obviously when I have time off, I usually come to America. This is actually one of the places I do train before pre-season so it’s nice to be back. I wouldn’t say it’s home but yes, it’s a nice facility.”

Meanwhile, United haven’t been idle in the transfer market, snapping up Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and Leny Yoro from Lille. Over at PSG, they’ve splashed the cash to secure Joao Neves from Benfica as they bolster their midfield options.
