Man United fans all say same thing as Kane combines with two stars for England opener

Manchester United fans were loving Harry Kane’s opener for England against North Macedonia at Old Trafford.
Gareth Southgate named three Red Devils in his starting line-up on Monday night with Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire all playing and two of them were crucial in the opener on the half-hour mark.

Kane gobbled up Shaw’s cut-back to tuck home his 40th goal of the season for club and country before going on to score a penalty after the break, his 58th goal for England.
Rashford released Shaw on the underlap that sparked off the move right in front of the Stretford End at Old Trafford.
With United heavily linked with the Tottenham star, it was no surprise to see a barrage of tweets from fans demanding that the striker make the move to the Theatre of Dreams.
One fan said: “Marcus Rashford to Luke Shaw who assists Harry Kane. Hopefully the first linkup of many at Old Trafford between these three.”

Another wrote: “Marcus Rashford silky pass to Luke Shaw assist to Harry Kane under the lights at Old Trafford. It’s written in the stars.”
And a third tweeted: “Harry Kane scoring goal in front of Stretford End for the home team. Luke Shaw assist. (Rashford passed to Shaw). Fingers crossed that happens from next season! (I don’t think it will happen though).”
While another exclaimed: “RASHFORD SHAW LINK UP ON THE LEFT WITH KANE FINISHING IT OFF AT THE THEATRE!”
That opened the North Macedonian floodgates with Bukayo Saka’s emphatic finish doubling their advantage before Rashford made it 3-0.

Kyle Walker fired in a cross from right-back that was excellently controlled by Saka, who smashed one into the roof of the net to make it 2-0.
Rashford, who had been on fire throughout the first half, all but wrapped up the game when he tapped in from Jordan Henderson’s pass.
The United star is used to lighting up Old Trafford and would have loved doing so in an England jersey, putting on a show for his fans in front of the Stretford End.
It gave England a 3-0 lead going into half-time, a perfect scenario for Southgate, while the annihilation continued after the break as Saka completed his hat-trick within six minutes.
Kalvin Phillips came off the bench to tuck in a tap-in before Kane netted a penalty in a 7-0 rout, making it four wins out of four for England in the Euros qualifiers.
And with key players such as Jude Bellingham and Reece James missing, England might consider this one of their strongest squads in years.
With the Euros arriving next summer, some might consider the Three Lions to go one better than their final appearance of 2021 and win the competition.
