Man City 'speak to Paul Pogba' as ex-Man Utd star's stance on free transfer emerges

Paul Pogba could reportedly be on his way to Manchester City as the Premier League champions look to arrest their injury concerns.

As per The Independent, Pogba has been ‘sounded’ out by City, who’ve struggled throughout the campaign with injuries.

However, his previous stint in Manchester could put Pogba off making a return when his ban expires.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, he said: “Honestly, I had a lot of problems. I had the burglary, I had [a] problem with the extortion.

“I had to leave Manchester. Let’s say it like this: if I didn’t have that [problems] maybe I would have been at City.

“But with an ‘if’ you can save the world because my head wasn’t about staying in Manchester. But it wasn’t a closed door because I left United for free.”
