IT’S a summer of major change at Ibrox, headed up by the sudden departure of chief executive James Bisgrove to Saudi Arabia.
Five senior players have moved on already on freedom of contract, with a cool 747 first team appearances for the club between them.
John Lundstram and Borna Barisic have departed – as have Kemar Roofe, Ryan Jack and Jon McLaughlin.
The Gers could move on too from talisman James Tavernier – with Ibrox veteran Ally McCoist telling the club yesterday that only he and veteran Connor Goldson will know right now if they’ve reached the end of the road at the club.
The club will listen to offers too for Todd Cantwell but it isn’t just off the field where there is a sense of transition.
That is because head of first team operations Hannah Maclean revealed on social media that she too is leaving the club after six yers for “the next adventure“.

Rangers’ first-team stars will report back to duty at the start of next week, with the club currently unable to play first team matches at Ibrox due to an issue with supply on steel for work on the Copland Stand.
The Gers have four friendlies lined up – all of them away from Ibrox.
They’ll take on Dutch giants Ajax in the small town of Wezep in a match which will take place on Saturday July 13 and have a 3pm UK kick-off.
The Old Trafford side will then ‘host’ Rangers at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, Edinburgh, on Saturday July 20.
It’s then down to England for the inaugural Trevor Francis Memorial Game.
Taking place on Wednesday, July 24, the match will take place exactly a year on from the legendary Francis’ passing at the age of 69 in 2023.
