Jack Grealish joined his team-mates to celebrate Manchester City’s Premier League title success
Manchester City star Jack Grealish had two lucky escapes on Sunday evening as he joined his team-mates on an open-top bus to celebrate the Citizens’ Premier League title success. The winger almost fell from the bus on two separate occasions, with two of his team-mates coming to his rescue to spare his blushes and ensure he remained uninjured.
City enjoyed another scintillating season and copied their usual habit of turning it on during the second half of the campaign as they remained unbeaten in their final 23 top-flight matches.
And they clinched the title on the final day of the season after defeating West Ham 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
The Citizens ultimately saw their season end in misery as they were defeated 2-1 by Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday. But Guardiola’s team didn’t let the result dampen their spirits as they paraded their Premier League trophy through Manchester the following day.
The players appeared to be in joyous mood as the champagne flowed and Guardiola puffed on a cigar. And Grealish was fortunate to avoid an accident as he was captured in footage pumping his arm in the air towards fans while standing on the edge of the stationary bus.
The England international was then startled when the bus pulled away moments later and had to be held up by team-mate Jeremy Doku after losing his balance and coming close to toppling over the side.

Jack Grealish parties on Man City’s title bus parade
That wasn’t the only occasion he almost he lost his balance and fell when the bus started to move again, with Ruben Dias playing the hero on another occasion as he pulled the 28-year-old to safety. – just changed this as wasn’t sure which incident came first, probs better to be vague in case Dias incident was first
Grealish has endured a difficult campaign at the Etihad Stadium as was handed just 10 starts in the Premier League and eight in the Champions League.
And the former Aston Villa star, who cost City a whopping £100million when he joined them in 2021, didn’t even make it onto the pitch during the FA Cup final after being named as a substitute, despite his team desperately searching for a way back into the game in the second period.

There are now doubts over whether Grealish will still be a City player at the start of next season, with Bayern Munich eyeing up a shock move for the player, according to The Sun.
But a transfer away from Manchester would be met with resistance from Guardiola, who has already indicated to City officials that he wants to keep his squad together.
