Everton shareholder gushes over David Moyes as West Ham beat Leeds

Everton shareholder Mike Parry has been blown away by David Moyes for guiding West Ham to three points against Leeds United.

The Whites took the lead on Sunday, 21 May, at the London Stadium, but lost their advantage and ended up losing 3-1.

This certainly was a boost for the Toffees as their chances of getting relegated drastically reduced after full time.

Via Twitter, Parry wrote, “I’ve loved Davey Moyes since the day he walked through the Mighty @Everton door .. Love him more than ever today. Magic.”

Big boost

This could be one of Moyes’ biggest results for Everton and he’s done that despite not being in charge of the team.

West Ham needed to win for the Toffees to have control of their destiny on the final day and that’s exactly what happened.

Bournemouth at Goodison Park is perhaps one of the best fixtures they could’ve asked for and it’s now on to them to go out on deliver.

Leeds and Leicester have Spurs and West Ham to play and they’re both tougher games than what Everton have so it remains to be seen if they can get the job done.

Newcastle have to play Leicester on Monday, 22 May, and that’s not going to be an easy game for the Foxes either with the Magpies chasing Champions League.

The odds appear to be in Everton’s favour but that counts for nothing if they cannot go out and get the job done.
