England U19 v Sri Lanka U19: Friday 28 June (2pm)

 

The England U19s head to The Cloud County Ground on Friday 28 June (2pm start) for the opening match of their three-game Youth ODI series against Sri Lanka.

Essex will be well represented in the squad with Noah Thain, Charlie Allison and Luc Benkenstein all set to feature in the match and the trio spoke on the eve of the series:

The three players were all involved in the Under 19s World Cup during the winter and are joined by other up and coming players in the game, including Lancashire’s Rocky Flintoff, Middlesex’s Noah Cornwell and Somerset’s Thomas Rew.

Entry into the ground is free for Essex Members and £5 for Adults in advance or on the gates. Spectators under the age of 18 years old can watch for free of charge.

Ground Information

The 50-over match will begin at 2pm for the day/night encounter with gates open from 1pm. The Doug Insole Pavilion will be open for all spectators serving a range of snacks and drinks.

The seated areas of the ground are located in the Doug Insole Pavilion benches and Tom Pearce Upper & Lower Stands for all spectators.

Please note that the Tees River Gate will not be open for this match and all access into the ground will be via the main entrance on New Writtle Street.

Meteor Way car park is not open and a limited number of spaces at The Cloud County Ground will be available for Essex Members on a first come, first served basis.
