Cristiano Ronaldo’s unwavering commitment to becoming one of the greatest footballers in history has afforded him an unparalleled lifestyle. The 39-year-old has solidified his legacy at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, securing five Ballon d’Or awards, four European Golden Shoes, 33 trophies and establishing himself as the highest goalscorer of all time.

He looks set to keep playing for both club and country for the foreseeable future and extend his staggering tally of 907 goals and counting, while the 2026 World Cup seems to be on his radar with Portugal. Football has dominated his life.

However, outside of the beautiful game, Ronaldo enjoys a wealth of riches. From an extensive collection of cars to numerous properties, here Express Sport take a look at his astonishing wealth.

What is Cristiano Ronaldo’s net worth?

After earning so much over the past two decades, it’s challenging to determine Ronaldo’s precise fortune. Celebrity Net Worth estimate it to be $800million (£613m).

His contract with Al-Nassr alone, which positions him as the highest-paid player globally, is thought to be a staggering £219.5m annually. That deal concludes next summer, but reports indicate he’s prepared to extend his stay.

In addition, he has several endorsements, most notably with Nike, with whom he has a lifetime agreement worth a guaranteed $1billion (£767m). He also has contracts with Armani, Tag Heuer, Kickoff, Herbalife, Livescore, Clear, Binance, PokerStars and Castrol.

In addition to his footballing prowess, Ronaldo has proven himself a savvy entrepreneur with his own clothing brand, CR7, and hotel chain. He’s well on his way to joining the elite club of sports stars who have amassed a net worth exceeding one billion.

What cars does Cristiano Ronaldo own?

Ronaldo has a particular passion for luxury cars. His collection, which is comfortably in the double digits, is estimated to be worth more than $25m (£19m).

A significant portion of this value comes from his three Bugattis – the Centodieci, Chiron and Veyron. The Centodieci alone set him back $9.9m (£7.5m).

Where does Cristiano Ronaldo live?

It remains unclear whether Ronaldo has bought a permanent home in Saudi Arabia. Most recently, it was reported that he was residing in the Kingdom Suite at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, which spans two floors at the top of the building.

Beyond that, Ronaldo’s property portfolio includes an £8m mansion in Dubai, a £6m penthouse in Lisbon, a residence in his native Madeira, a villa in Marbella and a house in Madrid.

He parted ways with his New York apartment in Trump Tower in 2022, yet he’s been unable to find a buyer for his lavish Cheshire mansion, which he occupied during his second spell at United. The property remains on the market, just shy of the £5m mark.

When will Cristiano Ronaldo retire?

While Ronaldo will celebrate his 40th birthday in February, the remarkable physical condition he maintains has enabled him to evade serious injury and outlast many of his peers on the pitch.

The football legend has hinted that he won’t hang up his boots until at least 2026, as he chases the ambitious goal of netting a phenomenal 1,000 career goals. This quest undoubtedly encompasses one final push for World Cup glory with his national team.

It seems he has no plans to add another club to his CV. In August, Ronaldo told Portuguese channel NOW: “I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire here at Al Nassr.”
