Cristiano Ronaldo has been an Al-Nassr player for almost two years after completing a switch to the Saudi Pro League at the beginning of 2023. The blockbuster star had his contract at Manchester United terminated in November 2022 following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan and hasn’t looked back since.

Ronaldo, who will turn 40 in February, has bagged plenty of goals in the Middle East and isn’t struggling to find the back of the net once again this season.

He is also still plying his trade for Portugal, contributing two goals and an assist in his most recent outing against Poland in November. And Express Sport takes a look at his life in Saudi Arabia.

Private jet

According to Sport Bible, Ronaldo owns a customised Gulfstream 650 private jet worth £58million. The jet can seat up to 19 passengers and can fly 7,500 nautical miles before it needs refuelling.

The aircraft can reach speeds of 595 mph and would have an annual maintenance bill of nearly £1.5m based on 200 hours of flying time.

Ronaldo is one of the richest athletes on the planet and his use of the jet will allow him to fly across the world to meet his professional and commercial obligations throughout the year.

£10.5m mansion

Ronaldo and his family have moved into a £10.5million mansion in Saudi’s capital Riyadh, according to talkSPORT, which is said to include a personalised gym and a football pitch.

Before moving into the mansion, Ronaldo and his family lived in the Four Seasons Hotel in the same city.

The player booked out two floors and 17 rooms at the hotel and was said to be forking out £250,000 per month for the privilege of living there.

He has been with his partner Georgina Rodriguez since 2016, with the couple sharing two children together. Ronaldo also has three other children.

Retirement plans

Ronaldo has scored more international goals than any other player in the men’s game after finding the back of the net a whopping 135 times for Portugal.

And after bagging a brace against Poland six weeks ago, he revealed that he may call time on his illustrious career in the next couple of years, despite the fact he is still in pristine shape thanks to his intense training regime and strict diet.

“I just want to enjoy playing football,” he explained. “Planning my retirement, whether it’s in one or two years, I don’t know. I will soon turn 40 and, as long as I feel motivated, I will keep going.”

He then added: “I don’t see myself managing a team. It’s not in my plans.”
