Cristiano Ronaldo is ‘best’ for Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan is the one person who can start a contentious discussion about Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.

As expected, the moment Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League were severely damaged Sunday by a loss to Aston Villa at the Emirates, he was back at it, criticising Mikel Arteta for his inability to acquire a potent striker.

Furthermore, the TalkTV personality already asserted that he knew who the side needed.

“Arsenal’s lack of a proper striker has come back to haunt us. So many chances in first half, but none taken,” he wrote on X.

“I think @Cristiano would score 25+ goals a season in our team with the service he’d get. Arteta’s refusal to prioritise a top striker is his one major blindspot.”

Naturally, the legendary Real Madrid player is still making great hits in Saudi Arabia.

The 39-year-old scored 56 goals in 62 games since making the large financial switch to Al-Nassr, and he leads the Pro League scoring lists ahead of players like Karim Benzema and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Even though it would be shocking if “CR7” showed up at the Emirates, the Middle East doesn’t really have a standard that can be compared to the Premier League.

Morgan is right to accept, for the time being at least, that Gabriel Jesus is not the solution to Arsenal’s seeming finishing shortage.

He’s just mishandling the much-anticipated replacement, according to Express UK.
