Cristiano Ronaldo has been gifted a brand new car as he nears the end of a record-breaking year with Al-Nassr. The 39-year-old failed to win a trophy but did reach several individual milestones in 2024.

In September, Ronaldo netted his 900th career goal, arguably making him the greatest goalscorer in the sport’s history. The seasoned forward has also maintained his scoring prowess at club level, even though Al-Nassr have twice come runners-up in the Saudi Pro League since Ronaldo joined the club in January 2023.

Ronaldo made history again in May, ending the previous campaign with 35 league goals and setting a new single-season record for the Saudi Pro League. The club are currently 11 points behind the league leaders, but Ronaldo and the rest of the Al-Nassr squad were recently presented with luxury BMWs, adding to the striker’s impressive car collection.

The Saudi Arabian club has a partnership with Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, which imports BMWs into the Middle East. Consequently, Al-Nassr installed electric charging ports at their training ground, and Ronaldo was spotted posing with his new Frozen Black BMW XM, complete with a red metal grille and a personalised number plate. BMW has similar sponsorship arrangements with Real Madrid and AC Milan.

The car is valued at around £164k, and the same model was also given to Ronaldo’s teammate and former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane. According to Forbes, Ronaldo was paid £218m this year. This equates to £4.1m per week and an astonishing £24.9k per hour. It means that Ronaldo would earn £174k after just seven hours, which is £10k more than his new BMW.

Ronaldo will need to make extra space for his shiny new BMW, adding yet another vehicle to his already jaw-dropping car collection. The ex-Manchester United icon has spent part of his fortune on a fleet of high-end cars, boasting the likes of a Ferrari Purosangue, as well as Lamborghinis, Bugattis, Porsches, and Rolls-Royces.

An Al-Nassr social media post said: “Luxury meets football stars. Al-Nassr players behind the wheel of their BMWs.” Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo has netted 16 goals in just 19 appearances this season. However, Al-Nassr are fourth in the league and appointed ex-AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli in September.

They trail well behind Al-Ittihad, who’ve won 12 of their 13 games so far. Al-Nassr’s focus will now be centered around acheiving AFC Champions League glory, having breezed into the round of 16 with matches to spare.
