Todd Boehly is keen to cut the size of the Chelsea squad
Chelsea could be set for a fresh injection of cash thanks to their Premier League rivals in what remains of the summer transfer window. The Blues have splashed the cash already in recent months, acquiring the services of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Filip Jorgensen and Marc Guiu – among others.
The Stamford Bridge outfit may now turn their attention to offloading some of their fringe players to fund any last-minute deals. Express Sport takes a look at four stars who could be sold to rivals in what remains of the summer transfer window…
Trevoh Chalobah to Crystal Palace (£25m)
Chelsea have made it no secret that they are keen to offload Chalobah in the next few weeks by not naming him in their pre-season trip to the USA. According to The Telegraph, Crystal Palace are the latest side to shortlist the defender as a target whilst they prepare for the potential departure of Marc Guehi. A fee in the region of £25million is expected to be enough to secure the signature of the 25-year-old.
Armando Broja to Wolves or Everton (£30m)
After a permanent move to Fulham did not materialise last summer, Broja is now on the lookout for his next side. Chelsea demanded £35m for their academy graduate previously, and their price tag is unlikely to have dropped below £30m given that several sides are in the market for strikers. Wolves and Everton have both been linked with the Albania international previously.

David Datro Fofana to Leicester (£20m)
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are expected to offload Fofana permanently this summer, despite only acquiring his services in December 2022. The Ivorian emerged with credit from his loan spell at Burnley and his valuation might be in the region of around £20m, which would be £10m profit on their previous investment. Leicester City have been heavily linked with the ex-Molde star, both on loan and permanently.

Ben Chilwell to Man Utd (£30m)
Vice-captain Chilwell has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea, and the higher powers at the club may look to cut their losses on the England international as a result. The Daily Mail report that Manchester United have shortlisted the ex-Leicester City star as an option to provide cover for Luke Shaw. Chelsea forked out £45m to sign Chilwell in 2020, though they are unlikely to receive a similar fee in the next few weeks. An offer of around £30m could test the resolve of the Blues.
