Barcelona coach Xavi admits he’s a fan of Bayern Munich wing-back Joshua Kimmich.
The Germany international has been linked with Barca ahead of the summer market.
Xavi said: “Kimmich seems like a spectacular footballer to me, one of the best in his position.”
Xavi was also asked about criticism from Real Sociedad after he talked up midfielder Martin Zubimendi before Saturday’s defeat to La Real.
He added: “The sports director of Real Sociedad got angry because I talked about Zubimendi, but you ask me. It’s not that I want to be disrespectful or destabilise any team, I don’t have the goal.”
