Jude Bellingham has been nominated for the prestigious Ballon d’Or award following an impressive year with his club and national team.
The Real Madrid sensation, who clinched both La Liga and Champions League titles before leading England to the Euro 2024 final, is among the high-profile nominees for the men’s accolade.
Several Premier League stars have also made it to the 30-man shortlist, including Manchester City’s Ruben Dias, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland and Rodri.
Jude Bellingham is among the favourites for the award.
Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard have also been recognised, while Aston Villa’s goalkeeper Emi Martinez is in contention for both the top award and the goalkeeping honour.
Manchester City, after securing their fifth consecutive Premier League title, are up for the men’s club of the year award, facing competition from Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Girona and Bayer Leverkusen.
The Ballon D’Or trophy
Lauren James, Lauren Hemp, Lucy Bronze and Khaija Shaw have all been shortlisted for the women’s award.
Manchester United’s young talents Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho are nominated for the Kopa Trophy, alongside Euro 2024 winner Lamine Yamal.
