Arsenal are reportedly eyeing West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus as a £90million replacement for Leandro Trossard, who is being targeted by Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

The Gunners have shown interest in Ghanaian star Kudus before, having considered signing him prior to his move from Ajax to the Hammers for around £40m last August.

Now, with Al-Ittihad potentially offering £40m for Trossard after an unsuccessful loan bid last summer, Arsenal have Kudus back on their radar.

However, the 24 year old has recently been embroiled in controversy and awaits further punishment following his red card in West Ham’s 4-1 defeat to Tottenham two weeks ago.

After scoring the opening goal, Kudus was sent off late in the game for clashing with Spurs’ Micky van de Ven, Richarlison and Pape Matar Sarr.

The FA has charged Kudus with violent conduct and improper behaviour for an incident “after the offence he was sent for”, which could result in an extension to his three-match ban.
