Dani Olmo has urged the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City to snap him up after the deadline to match his £50million RB Leipzig release clause was extended to July 20. The Spain star reportedly has strong interest from Premier League clubs this summer.

Olmo has put his future in the hands of his representatives while he prepares for Spain’s crunch Euro 2024 final showdown with England. The attacking midfielder has been one of the star’s of the tournament and struck a stunning goal in La Roja’s semi-final win over France.

Arsenal and Man City have both been linked with moves for the 26-year-old. His release clause was previously due to expire on July 15 – the day after the Euro 2024 final – but has now been extended to July 20.

“Clause until July 20? Yes, if clubs want me, they know what they can do,” Olmo told El Larguero.

“There’s time until July 20 for the clause otherwise later it’d be tough negotiations! I’m under contract at Leipzig and I want to win titles.

“I’m not worried. I have my people who take care of everything. I have too much to do with the Euros to think about other things. Especially now with the final ahead. I don’t have anything else on my mind.

“The people I trust already know my opinion and what I want to do. That’s the only thing that matters. All I want is to win and keep winning.

“I said that when I renewed my contract. They wanted to make a winning project and that is why I renewed. I want to win titles.”

Olmo has caught the attention of Europe’s biggest clubs with his performances for Leipzig and the Spanish national team over the last few years. The playmaker scored eight goals and provided five assists in Germany last season.

He has scored three goals and laid on a further two at the Euros. A personal battle with Harry Kane for the tournament’s golden boot will be played out in the backdrop of the final.

Olmo has issued a bold warning to England ahead of Sunday’s clash in Berlin. He has told the Three Lions that Spain have beaten the best teams this summer, including tournament favourites Germany and France.

“Spain-England is a Euro final through and through,” he said. “We have always said that to win you have to face the best. We have faced them all and we have won. Now it is England’s turn.”
