Manchester United are still working on a number of potential signings with just seven days until the summer window slams shut. The Red Devils have already welcomed a host of new faces but Erik ten Hag is still believed to be keen on adding to his squad.

A move for Manuel Ugarte appears to be getting closer with United having been locked in talks with PSG over the last few weeks. However, it has been reported that players may need to leave before a deal can be finalised, meaning it is likely to drag on until the final stages of the window.

The likes of Scott McTominay and Jadon Sancho have been tipped to depart Old Trafford with no shortage of interest in their services. McTominay has been linked with a move to Fulham or Napoli while Sancho is said to have emerged as a target for Juventus.

Eriksen could leave for bargain fee

Christian Eriksen could be allowed to leave Old Trafford for a bargain fee over the coming days, according to Football Insider.

The Dane has reportedly been deemed surplus to requirements by Erik ten Hag this season.

It is said that United are willing to consider bids in the region of £5m in order to move Eriksen on.

Juventus step up Sancho chase

Juventus are stepping up their pursuit of a move for Jadon Sancho, according to Sky Sports.

The Italian giants are reportedly exploring the conditions of a deal with United.

They have already discussed personal terms with Sancho, who did not feature in United’s recent win over Fulham.

It remains unclear if Juventus are pushing for a loan deal or a permanent move.

United urged to hijack Toney move

Match of the Day pundit Danny Murphy has urged United to hijack Ivan Toney’s move to Saudi Arabia.

Al-Ahli have reportedly made an official bid for the Brentford striker, who has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months.

In a column for the Daily Mail, Murphy wrote: “We know Toney has the swagger and Premier League experience.

“If Brentford are willing to let him go for £50m, it would be a no-brainer in my view for Erik ten Hag to get him.

“They cannot finish in the top four with Rasmus Hojlund as their only recognised centre forward.

“Joshua Zirkzee will be a big asset, but his strength is joining in play and chipping in with goals rather than bearing the main responsibility.”

Kone medical booked for next week

Sekou Kone will undergo a medical at Old Trafford next week, according to fussball.news.

United are set to pay around £1.2m for the 18-year-old, who has previously been dubbed the ‘next Yaya Toure’.

The deal will reportedly include bonuses depending on the number of professional appearances Kone makes.

United are said to consider him as one for the future alongside fellow academy signing Chido Obi Martin.

Ugarte deal set to go to the wire

Any successful move for Manuel Ugarte is likely to be confirmed in the last few days of the window, according to Sky Sports.

There is a broad agreement in place between United and PSG, while Ugarte has his heart set on a move to Old Trafford.

However, any potential deal remains difficult without further sales, meaning it is likely to drag on until the final stages of the window.
