Jude Bellingham and Sergio Aguero posed for a snap together after bumping into each other on holiday
Jude Bellingham has been praised by Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero for his “very polite” demeanour during a chance encounter while on holiday. The midfield maestro, who has had an outstanding season with Real Madrid, clinching both La Liga and Champions League titles, is currently unwinding in the United States after a gruelling but successful campaign.
Bellingham’s summer break took him to the US where he was spotted spending time alongside Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, sparking transfer speculation as the defender signed a Real Madrid shirt for a fan amidst talks of a move to Spain upon the end of his contract at Anfield in the summer of 2025.
During his American getaway, Bellingham unexpectedly met Aguero in a restaurant, seizing the opportunity to grab a photo with the retired striker who was with his family. The former striker boasts a massive Instagram following of 30.8million and shared the encounter with his fans, reports the Mirror.
He captioned the photo: “Hey Jude! While having dinner, this guy called Bellingham came to say hi. Very polite and nice. Incredible player”. This isn’t the first time Bellingham’s poise and confidence have caught the attention of football’s elite; the England prodigy has been turning heads ever since his debut at Birmingham City five years ago.
Liverpool fans, meanwhile, continue to grow increasingly anxious amid persistent speculation about the future of their beloved vice-captain, who is said to have a strong bond with Jude Bellingham – a player once heavily linked with a move to Anfield before his big-money move to Real Madrid.
The England duo have struck up a close bond in recent years
Reds boss Arne Slot found himself bombarded with relentless inquiries about Alexander-Arnold’s situation last week, and his latest response did little to alleviate the concerns of the Anfield faithful.
“My answer will probably be a bit boring, I think it is the same answer you have heard in the last five, six, seven years,” Slot remarked when pressed on whether the club can tie down the full-back to a new contract. “That contract situation is not discussed at this place, but just keep trying I would say!”.
