Eddie Howe could cash in on a whole host of players if he continues as Newcastle boss
Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea can snap up a whole host of Newcastle stars this summer as the Magpies decide whether to cash in on 12 players who have less than a year remaining on their contracts. Newcastle are currently clinging on to boss Eddie Howe, who has been linked with the vacant England managerial position following Gareth Southgate’s exit earlier this week.
The new Premier League season is set to get underway in mid-August as the top clubs look to battle for silverware on all fronts.
And teams are busy in the transfer market as they look to build their squads and keep pace with the sides around them.
Newcastle are said to be keen to oversee a wise transfer policy when it comes to players departing, with profit and sustainability rules now at the forefront of thinking across every top-flight club.
Kieran Trippier, Callum Wilson and Sean Longstaff are among the 12 players coming to the end of their deals, with the clock also ticking on the contracts of Jamaal Lascelles, Fabian Schar and Dan Burn.
United could target Trippier as they look to shore up their defence, with the full-back able to play on either flank. The Red Devils may also chase the signature of Wilson and give him the task of teaching Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee how to bang in the goals in the Premier League.

Central midfielder Longstaff could also be a target for the 13-time Premier League champions if they sanction the departures of Casemiro and Scott McTominay this summer.
Arsenal, who finished second to Manchester City in the top-flight title race last season, could jump at the chance to sign Lascelles, Schar or Burn as an understudy for first-choice centre-back pairing William Saliba and Gabriel.
The Gunners could also be in the market for soon-to-be out-of-contract Magpies goalkeeper Martin Dubravka as a back-up for David Raya if Aaron Ramsdale pushes for a move away, while Wilson could also be of interest to them to offer support to their regular starting strikers.

Elsewhere, Chelsea could be tempted by Trippier, who could battle with Reece James for a spot at right-back.
And Wilson could act as a temporary solution up front if the Blues suffer goalscoring problems next season.
Meanwhile, Newcastle could also look to claw in some money for Emil Krafth, Ryan Fraser, Jamal Lewis, Mark Gillespie and Joe White before their contracts expire next summer.
