Striker Mehdi Taremi will complete his final medicals on a move to Inter Milan on Friday.
This according to Sky Sport Italia reporter Matteo Barzaghi. He reports in a tweet that the 31-year-old Iranian international will undergo his final medicals at the end of the week, having already done his initial medicals.
Striker Taremi is in Milan.
It is now truly only a matter of time before the Iranian officially becomes an Inter player.
Inter have already confirmed the signing of midfielder Piotr Zielinski on a free transfer from Napoli. And today, goalkeeper Josep Martinez’s transfer also became official.
And at the end of the week, Inter should be ready to make one more big name free transfer signing official.
Taremi’s contract with Porto has officially expired at the end of last month.
Therefore, the 31-year-old will be able to put pen to paper on his deal with Inter.

As Sky reporter Barzaghi notes, Taremi has already gone initial medicals on his move to Inter.
The Iranian’s transfer to the Nerazzurri has been in the works for months.
And now, Taremi has arrived in Milan, where he will finish up the final details of his move.
Naturally, Inter do not have to work out any documents or formalities with Porto. Taremi is joining as a free agent.
However, Barzaghi reports that the 31-year-old will undergo one final round of medicals.
That will take place on Friday of this week.
Then, Taremi will be ready to sign his contract. He should officially become an Inter player in time to be a part of the Nerazzurri’s training camp, which kicks off this weekend.
Reports indicate that Taremi will sign a two-year contract with Inter until the end of June 2026. This will have the option of a further season.
