Paul Pogba breaks silence on new job away from football with exciting message

Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba has embarked on a new venture away from the football pitch.

The 31-year-old Frenchman, who is currently under contract with Juventus, has not played since September 2023 due to a ban imposed in August 2023 after testing positive for testosterone. Initially slapped with a four-year ban, it has since been reduced, paving the way for his return in early 2025 – a prospect he eagerly anticipates.

However, Pogba’s latest endeavour sees him stepping into the world of film. The talented midfielder has been cast in the upcoming release ‘4 Zeros’, where he will portray a youth team football coach.

The news was shared by Pogba himself on Instagram, where he expressed his excitement: “Super happy to appear in the movie 4 Zero,” he wrote. The post quickly garnered over 700,000 likes, demonstrating the significant influence the former United player continues to wield in the media and footballing world.

Meanwhile, speculation about Pogba’s future in club football has been rife, particularly as new coach Thiago Motta appears to have indicated that the 31 year old may not have a future at Juventus upon his return, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The No. 10 shirt, previously worn by Paul Pogba, was reassigned to Turkey’s Kenan Yildiz earlier this year.

In light of this, Motta commented: “On Paul Pogba, the club will evaluate what to do. As for me, Pogba has been a great player, who hasn’t played for a long time. Now I’m focused on tomorrow’s game and everything else doesn’t matter much to me at this moment.”
